Fairlight Dog Walking

Fairlight must be one of the favourite areas for dog walkers locally. The view from the visitors centre car park is outstanding. On a clear day you can see the coast of France and the White Cliffs of Dover, as well as Dungeness, Rye, Winchelsea and Pett level. Fairlight Parish Church stands as a landmark that can be seen for miles around. The village of Fairlight marks the eastern end of the park and 5 kilometres to the west, Hastings Old Town marks the western boundary. Between these points lies over 660 acres of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The area includes ancient woodland and grassland, together with dramatic coastline and cliffs walks.

For dog socialising, the walk from the car park towards the coastguard station, provides ample opportunity to meet other dogs and their owners. Another favourite area is the East Hill with its views over the historic Old Town of Hastings and the fishing boats that are a feature of The Stade.

Fairlight Country Park

Jazzy Dogs are based in the Clive Vale area of Ore and from here can access the whole country park within 5 minutes. With no risk from cars and well maintained paths, it provides the ideal location for many of our walks.
